For several years, our activists, other Ministers, MPs and I have been talking to Singaporeans from all walks of life. We have engaged in conversations with thousands of them – students, nurses, academia, civil society activists, elderly, journalists, teachers, principals, religious leaders, grassroot leaders, animal welfare activists, civil servants, bloggers, train drivers, lawyers, professionals. Greater Connectivity

There is a need to balance the forces of the demand and supply of services, which fluctuates greatly within each day. Transport planners also have to grapple with the challenge of utilising public funds, in an accountable and effective manner. Over the years,  we have asked for progressive developments to our existing transportation networks. Our plan is to have an integrated transport hub that will connect our MRT, bus, bicycle and pedestrian networks into one unit.....
