Help is available for jobseekers in Nee Soon. NTUC’s e2i will bring on-site job interviews to all 5 constituencies in Nee Soon from August to October.
The first of 5 job fairs was held in Chong Pang Community Club on 20 August. Home Affairs and Law Minister K. Shanmugam, MP for Nee Soon GRC, visited the job fair.
He told the media that the focus has always been on ensuring that Singaporeans have jobs. “Without jobs, you can’t look after yourself. You can’t look after your family,” he added.
There were over 1,600 job vacancies available at the fair in Chong Pang CC, including openings for housekeepers, sales assistants, business analysts, inventory controllers, security officers, store managers and manufacturing specialists.
