Nee Soon GRC MPs joined Muslim Singaporeans in breaking fast on 28th May 2017.

Around 3000 Muslim Singaporeans, including many Nee Soon residents, gathered at the hard court at Blk 165 Yishun Ring Rd. They were welcomed by a speech from Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, MP for Nee Soon Central, and chatted with other Nee Soon GRC MPs Minister K Shanmugam, Er. Dr. Lee Bee Wah, Louis Ng and Kwek Hian Chuan Henry.

Residents from other races and religions also joined them. On top of that, 2000 packets of food were distributed to people who could not make it to the event.

The event was organised by IMSSA (the Indian Muslim Social Service Association) and supported by Nee Soon GRC MAECs (Malay Activity Executive Committees).

In the month of Ramadan, Nee Soon GRC MPs will be joining break fast gatherings (iftars) in various parts of the constituency. They are also helping grassroots organisations distribute food and Hari Raya goodies to needy Muslim residents.
