Much fanfare was seen at Chong Pang’s Chinese New Year Light Up celebrations this year. A lion and dragon dance ushered in good luck for everyone. A huge God of Fortune statue was also set up at Blk 101, just opposite Chong Pang Camp.
Nee Soon GRC partners DBS to scale up efforts in helping hawkers go digital
Nee Soon grassroots leaders led by the GRC’s Members of Parliament have teamed up DBS Bank to launch an ‘Adopt-a-Hawker Centre’ programme in Chong Pang, an initiative which will not just train hawkers to go digital but also provide free meals to frontline healthcare workers in Nee Soon GRC. Under the arrangement, DBS will provide a corporate sponsorship to the programme under a multi-stakeholder partnership – involving Nee Soon GRC, SG Digital Office (SDO), People’s Association,….

Six stations on Thomson-East Coast Line to open for passenger service on 28 August 2021
The second stage of the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) is ready for passenger service from 28 August 2021!
Commuters can look forward to a shorter waiting time with trains arriving at stations every five minutes during peak hours and every nine minutes off-peak. This is up from the current frequency of 10 minutes during peak hours and 15 minutes during off-peak hours at the first three stations of the TEL in Woodlands.
Residents of Nee Soon will also enjoy greater connectivity with these newly added stations!….
