Chong Pang City neighbourhood centre will be rejuvenated with a new integrated development, housing the Chong Pang Community Club, Market and Hawker Centre, 3 swimming pools, a gym, fitness studios, commercial shops, and a basement carpark with over 300 lots. The multistorey development will be called Chill @ Chong Pang. Larger than a football field, it will stand on the site of the current Chong Pang Community Club and Block 102 Yishun Avenue 5. Chong Pang City is the first neighbourhood centre in Yishun New Town and is about 40 years old.....

Opening of Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre

Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre (HYC) was officially opened on 30 Nov. Nee Soon GRC MPs Minister K Shanmugam, Er Dr Lee Bee Wah and Henry Kwek attended the opening ceremony. Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre is located at Yishun Central 1, beside the idyllic Yishun Pond. It previously housed the temporary Yishun Polyclinic. Tzu Chi met with Nee Soon GROs on the idea of creating a space specifically for youths, to cater to the needs of the community.....

NDP Live Screening in Nee Soon Attracts 3,000 Residents

On 9 August, our National Day, Nee Soon Town Council organised a National Day Parade Live Screening event which attracted 3,000 residents to celebrate together. This is the first time Nee Soon Town Council has organised a live screening of the National Day Parade right in the heartlands. It was held at the hardcourt beside Yishun MRT station, in front of Blk 744.
