A Better CC for a Greener and More Inclusive Future

The upgraded Nee Soon South Community Club (CC) will be the first CC in Singapore to incorporate SLEB-compliance and dementia-friendly designs. Nee Soon South CC will be upgraded with features that reduce its energy consumption. With solar panels on the roof, smart energy management, use of natural ventilation and lighting and other such features, it is projected to become a Super Low Energy Building (SLEB). It also aims be a Zero Energy building that generates its own energy for consumption.....

Opening of Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre

Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre (HYC) was officially opened on 30 Nov. Nee Soon GRC MPs Minister K Shanmugam, Er Dr Lee Bee Wah and Henry Kwek attended the opening ceremony. Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre is located at Yishun Central 1, beside the idyllic Yishun Pond. It previously housed the temporary Yishun Polyclinic. Tzu Chi met with Nee Soon GROs on the idea of creating a space specifically for youths, to cater to the needs of the community.....
