Chong Pang Animal Welfare Forum on Animal Protection Policies

Animal lovers from all over Singapore joined us at our 4th Chong Pang Animal Welfare Forum organised with ACRES. Animal welfare issues were raised, including animal abuse, legislation, ownership rules and culling. There’s still plenty to be done. The forum touched on how the real issues are often not about animal conflicts, but differing opinions between communities dealing with the issues. There is room to find a middle ground of practical and sustainable solutions and move the animal welfare cause forward.....

Chong Pang CNY Light Up 2015

Much fanfare was seen at Chong Pang’s Chinese New Year Light Up celebrations this year. A lion and dragon dance ushered in good luck for everyone. A huge God of Fortune statue was also set up at Blk 101, just opposite Chong Pang Camp.....

Through the generosity of our grassroots leaders, 1,600 of our senior citizens in Chong Pang were able to enjoy a festive reunion lunch. Minister Shanmugam also handed out hongbaos and goodie bags, while the youths entertained them with song and dance.....

Taking a short walk around the buzzing Chong Pang City, you can’t help but start to notice the number of Duck Rice food stores popping up at every corner. Either the long queue of eager hungry people or the rows of charred-red glistening crispy roasted meat will definitely catch your eye. (Wow, just salivated reading that line). Model Parliament

Singapore – June 21, 2012 – To engage Singaporean youths in policy and political debate, Young PAP (YPAP) organizes the inaugural YP Model Parliament (YPMP) at the Arts House, Singapore former parliament house, from 9th to 24th June 2012. The inaugural YPMP comprises of forty-two YP activists, as well as thirty-eight youths and university students. The parliamentary debates are centered on the 2012 budget, with special emphasis on population, housing affordability, transportation, and economic policies.
